Walmart is the Walmart of the Internet
Thursday, July 3rd, 2008One of my favorite sayings of the web 1.0 (circa 1999) was that eBay, Amazon, Pets.com, Webvan, eToys, DrKoop.com and more were the WalMarts of the internet.
If it was true then, it is no longer true now. In this web 2.0 era Walmart has truly proven that WalMart is the WalMart
of the internet.
For the average shopper who is just looking for a fair price, you can not go wrong with WalMart. They have a new interactive interface that is easy to use and you get the added benefit of avoiding long lines. Not to mention they offer great seasonal gear of all kinds and huge MP3 store.
GuyCrap.com gives WalMart the GC stamp of approval.
